Boardman outlines tough on crime, jobs – $450 mil capital raise goal

and  good judgment, higher standards for education

Paul Boardman, (Boardy) candidate for Mayor of La Porte said today that:  “as Mayor I will bring ICE and the DEA to La Porte to help solve our crime problem along with more police resources.  I am the only candidate who can make this happen  Boardman stated as he outlined his strong ties to the Trump administration as a Trump staff hire last summer.  “I was Trump’s 100th hire or so traveling with President Trump’s national team.  At the end of the campaign, I focused on writing a book entitled Ronald W. Reagan to Donald J. Trump – American Ingenuity published November 2, 2016.

Boardman next focused on jobs adding:   “I will lead incubating home grown La Porte jobs identifying local competitive advantage opportunities, attaching capital and facilitating La Porteans to run these companies.  We have the talent.  Also,  I will call on Chairman’s and CEO’s of Fortune 5,000 companies to potentially locate here.  I will sell to the federal government and large corporations on behalf of local companies needing me to open doors.   This has been my business since 2001.

Finally Boardman said:   “the development to build another middle school represents poor judgment.  It is a waste of money.  Two neighborhoods are negatively impacted.”  Boardman added:  “While the rest of the country has learned their lesson by centralizing schools and creating potentially violent mega schools La Porte is merrily going down that destructive path.  We will stop that wasteful development and utilize our terrific Boston Middle School ongoing.  BMS was built as at least a 125 year building currently needing reasonable upgrades.  La Porteans love this highly functional building, culture matters.   In addition, I will hold our school district accountable especially the high school which is suffering from many well know problems.”
